Monday, February 23, 2009 at 7:00 PM: "America the Beautiful" Documentary and Panel at University of Alabama

The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa will be showing the acclaimed documentary film on February 23, 2009, followed by a panel discussion about body image. "America the Beautiful" is a socially probing film that explores the question, "Does America have an unhealthy obsession with beauty?"

Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 7:00 PM: Presentation at Birmingham Southern College

Nicole Siegfried of Magnolia Creek will be speaking at Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham about "Risk Factors for Eating Disorders."

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 7:00 PM: Candlelight Vigil at Samford University

Magnolia Creek is hosting a candlelight vigil for individuals whose lives have been touched by an eating disorder. The vigil is a special ceremony to memorialize men and women who have passed away from an eating disorder, recognize those who are currently struggling with an eating disorder, and celebrate those who are in recovery from an eating disorder.
