- February 21-27, 2010: Online Candlelight Vigil
In recognition of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW), the Alabama Network for Eating Disorders brought back the virtual candlelight vigil to honor all individuals whose lives have been touched by an eating disorder. Nearly 150 candles were lit. In conjunction, Magnolia Creek hosted a candlelight vigil ceremony on February 24th at Samford University.

- January 31, 2009: "America the Beautiful" Documentary in Birmingham
Sponsored by Magnolia Creek and the Eating Disorder Center of Alabama. The acclaimed documentary explores the secrets, deadly risks, and strikingly harsh realities of our nation's quest for physical perfection.
The film screening will be followed by a short question-and-answer discussion session with the following panelists:
