EDIN is committed to preventing anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating and other eating disorders through outreach, awareness and action. EDIN works to prevent eating disorders by increasing public awareness of the genetic and personality factors that put someone "at risk," as well as helping people understand the influence of family messages about food and body size, peer influences to diet, and the impact of media images.
National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders
