Peacefully situated beside a private lake and nestled among more than thirty wooded acres just outside Birmingham, Magnolia Creek provides treatment for adult women struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and eating disorders not otherwise specified. Their comprehensive program provides intensive and personalized treatment in a natural, home-like setting, addressing the medical, psychological, nutritional, spiritual, and relational needs of their residents. Magnolia Creek is licensed by the State of Alabama and is accredited by The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO).

Eating Disorder Center of Alabama

A division of Alabama Psychiatric Services, the Eating Disorder Center of Alabama is a partial hospitalization program providing an intensive outpatient alternative to inpatient care. The program meets Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m, and offers a variety of individual and group therapies. Treatment usually lasts six-to-eight weeks.
